On March 25th, Stefan Jackiw made his Philadelphia Orchestra debut, playing Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 4 under Sir Andrew Davis. The Philadelphia Inquirer declared the performance to be "the kind of triumph of personality you wanted to cheer... [Jackiw has] a sound so saturated and vibrant it sounded like a living thing" (read the review).
Stefan plays Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 3 under Davis with the Toronto Symphony in May, and returns to the Philadelphia Orchestra for Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No. 2 under Marin Alsop in July.
